Robert Hutchinson, international artist and designer, was born in Essex, England in 1945. He attended art college in London and emigrated to California, USA in 1983 following successful careers in art and design positions in England and subsequently Paris, France. He eventually moved to Arizona where he operated the "Easy Street Art Gallery" in Carefree in 2014. In November of the same year he opened "The Gallery on the Square" in nearby Anthem as an art teaching facility and working studio. Robert is a member of the Arizona Art Alliance and Arts Council of the North Valley, he has also featured in "The Celebration of Fine Art," an annual Phoenix exhibition honoring the finest artists in the Western United States. Today he lives in Salt Lake City, Utah where he continues to produce outstanding canvasses filled with great use of color, texture and the arresting play of light. His work is in constant demand and is collected widely in the U.S. and internationally.
